This session came about because I wanted to run a session where I could interact with the community and give something back to the public that have been so good to me in my business. I have been so blessed to have the most amazing clients, who have become friends.

Cubby Cafe opened up in August 2024 and was immediately welcomed with open arms by the public…for good reason! I visited in that first couple of weeks myself and myself and my boys fell in love with Cubby Lane featuring a police station, hairdressers, train station, dance floor and a prison (my sons personal favourite). After a bite to eat at the cafe and a play down Cubby Lane, we visited the farm animals and saw the peacocks, chickens and donkey. Such a huge hit with the young ones! Paired with a barista made coffee in hand for mum and you have yourself a fantastic morning out with the kids.

After this visit, it was a no brainer for me. I wanted to work with Cubby Cafe and give the community that have supported both of us something back. And I’m so glad I did because it was a hit. I had a few bales of hay setup with blankets and decorations to bring the Christmas magic and away we went.

As an added bonus, every family that came and got their photo taken also received a $50 voucher to use towards a full session with me. It was truly such a fun experience and I met so many lovely families.

It was so fun, in fact, that we are looking to do more just like it in the future. Keep your eyes peeled on Cubby Cafe and my socials, especially around dates like Mother’s Day 😉
